Marina and Cristian’s love story began on a dating app in 2020, blossoming amidst the uncertainty of that year. Their relationship grew stronger through shared adventures, exploring new cities, and savoring great food. Cristian proposed at Lover’s Point in Monterey, CA, at a secluded oceanside spot. It was an emotional moment filled with tears of joy, setting the stage for the beautiful journey ahead.

Villa Loriana, located in the heart of San Luis Obispo, offers a castle-like charm perfect for a romantic celebration. The venue’s Tuscan-inspired interiors, hanging chandeliers, and lush grounds created the perfect backdrop for Marina and Cristian’s classy and elegant wedding. It’s no wonder they fell in love with this enchanting space—it truly felt like a real-life fairytale.

A Fall Wedding Full of Golden Elegance

Marina and Cristian chose a classic ivory and gold color palette to complement Villa Loriana’s timeless beauty. The champagne and taupe dresses of the bridal party harmonized perfectly with the sophisticated tones, while guests added a striking contrast in formal black attire. The floral arrangements and candles enhanced the romantic ambiance, creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and grand.

Unique Touches and Memorable Details

One of the most remarkable moments was Marina and Cristian’s first dance to “Unchained Melody” by The Righteous Brothers. Dancing on the clouds, they created a moment straight out of a dream. Another unforgettable detail was their vintage 1930s Ford Model A getaway car, which Cristian—a car enthusiast—adored. It took months to find the perfect vehicle, but it was worth every effort.

The reception was capped off with a show-stopping five-tier cake adorned with white roses, a testament to the couple’s timeless style. Cristian’s Romanian heritage was beautifully woven into the day, with a special prayer during the ceremony that added cultural depth and significance.

The day was filled with excitement and a few pre-ceremony jitters, but those quickly gave way to joy and laughter as Marina and Cristian exchanged vows in front of their loved ones.
